Specify materials for the product and cleaning duty.
The equipment catalogue includes SUS304 and SUS316L contact-material options. Selection should account for the food formulation, cleaning chemistry and operating conditions. A material grade is one part of hygienic equipment specification; it does not establish the complete design or suitability by itself.

Configuration priorities
What to specify for this duty.
01
Start with chemical compatibility
Describe acidity, relevant ingredients and the cleaning products you intend to use. Include concentrations, exposure conditions and any corrosion history from existing equipment. The selected metal and elastomers should be reviewed for the actual product and cleaning duty rather than choosing a grade solely by price.
02
Clarify where each material is used
Ask the quotation to distinguish product-contact surfaces from framework, utility-side components and cabinet construction. Seals, valves and instruments may have their own material requirements. A general stainless-steel description is not a substitute for an agreed contact-material schedule.
03
Include fabrication and maintenance
Surface condition, weld quality, access for inspection and replaceable seals belong to the equipment discussion. Specify any documentation required by your project. Do not infer a certification from a material name; certification and inspection documents should be identified explicitly in the offer.
A useful first enquiry
Bring the product. We’ll discuss the equipment.
You do not need every value to start. Share what is known and identify what needs review. A clear product brief helps define configuration, included modules and the decisions that affect the quotation.

Practical answers
Before you specify.
Is the complete machine SUS316L?
That must be defined in the quotation. Product-contact components and non-contact structures can have different specified materials.
Does a material grade guarantee hygienic compliance?
No. The complete design, fabrication, installation and operating process need assessment against the applicable requirements.
Discuss your equipment
From product requirements to a defined scope.
Send your product, target flow and packaging needs. The equipment quotation should identify what is included, what connects to your existing line and which process values still need confirmation.
Inspect the continuous tube-in-tube sterilization system: product feed, indirect heating, holding, cooling, controls, cleaning and the aseptic transfer interface.
Define tube-in-tube sterilizer CIP and SIP scope, circuit coverage, cleaning return, instruments and aseptic interfaces before specifying the equipment package.
