Product pressure-drop trial for tube-in-tube UHT

Measure a complete product path across temperature and flow before selecting the pump and pressure envelope.

Define measurement points

Identify calibrated pressure taps at pump discharge, heater entry, holding entry and aseptic outlet. Record whether the sensor reports gauge or absolute pressure, its range and the sampling interval. Capture the actual valve and bypass state on the same time axis.

Use representative product

Log batch identity, viscosity method and temperature, solids, largest particles, flow and inlet/outlet temperatures. Test the agreed normal, minimum and highest operating flow with safe limits established beforehand. Water data are a hydraulic baseline, not a guarantee for puree.

Read the complete trend

Separate product pressure drop from downstream backpressure and static head. Compare a clean reference with a production run before attributing a trend to fouling. The pressure envelope must stay within the proposed equipment limits and the aseptic interface requirements.
